1. Passport

  • Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date.
  • Condition: Ensure your passport is in good condition with no damages.

2. Visa Application

Japan requires a visa for most travelers from Nepal. The type of visa you apply for will depend on your purpose of visit (tourism, study, business, etc.).

Documents for Visa Application:
  • Completed Visa Application Form: Downloadable from the Japanese Embassy website.
  • Passport-size Photographs: Two recent color photographs (4.5 cm x 4.5 cm).
  • Flight Itinerary: A copy of your flight booking.
  • Hotel Reservation: Proof of accommodation during your stay in Japan.
  • Travel Insurance: It’s recommended to have travel insurance covering your entire trip duration.
  • Financial Documents: Bank statements for the last 3 months, tax returns, or income certificates to prove financial stability.
